My name is Mark Farmer, Secretary of the Hereford Charity Pool League, I have been using LeagueRepublic to administer our league for 8 years/16 seasons.
We have 7 divisions of 10 teams, so 70 teams in total, which equates to around 700 individual players.
LeagueRepublic has totally revolutionised my workflow, freeing up lots of time for me to concentrate on running the league rather than spending all my time with paperwork, Excel documents and making phone calls.
The system is fantastic for team or league administrators. We run all 7 divisions on the site, and have taken advantage of the truly excellent text result service. This means that team captains can text a result into the website and it updates the league table instantly. This saves me hours of work each week fetching scorecards , updating tables and having to decipher poor handwriting!
The administrator/s have total control of allowing results, either setting the site to need confirmation from an admin before the result shows up, or as I do, allowing the result to go up instantly. If there is a conflict in results between two teams the system flags this up for the admin to deal with. Perfect!
Around two years ago we decided to expire our old league website and move over fully to LeagueRepublic, we just didn't require the old site anymore as League Republic has everything covered.
We have also become a 'paperless' league, no need for continually printing off copies of league tables and delivering or posting them to our 45 venues, teams and pubs just print off league tables or cup draws as they need them.
We have a news section, galleries and knockout competition pages, as well as the superb league table standings pages for each division. It's the first port of call for all players when they need to see league tables, cup draws or news from our pool league.
League Republic has great customer service, if you get stuck then fire off a contact message or email and they get back to you quickly to sort things out.
In all honesty, I just couldn't function without LeagueRepublic. I have no qualms at all about recommending them.
