Stoney Stanton & District Darts League
It makes running a league so much simpler and provides the players with so much information...
We use LeagueRepublic for our darts league which consists of four divisions and a total of forty teams. Last season a total of 361 players played in the league.
When I set the league up in 2005 I wanted it to be as accessible as possible to the teams and players, so that they could see how they were doing as soon as possible after each week's matches. After some research online I came across LeagueRepublic which fitted the requirements perfectly.
When I started the league we had twelve teams, we are now at forty with a waiting list, I think that is in no small part due to the ease that players can access the results and statistics via League Republic. I initially had teams text me with their results which I aimed to get on the system by the next day after their matches, with the SMS service being introduced this has streamlined the process so now teams text their results to LeagueRepublic which update the tables instantly.
We use the statistics option to record 180's scored, best games & finishes along with the Game Score system to show who played against who.I have recommended LeagueRepublic to many other leagues, two of which I know use it, Leicestershire Superleague and the Hinckley & District Ladies League, and will continue to do so. It make running a league so much simpler and provides the players with so much information!
